yepperz ~ got scrappy happy again ~ and did the challenge over at ~ Tag You're It ~ for this week, which is to scrap a tag using purple. yep..the hardest color for me to scrap. ACK! don't know what it is about that color ~ i just can seem to get scrappy happy with it ~ anyhoo..i just had to give the TYI challenge a go this week ~ and *just do it* ~ pretty happy with the outcome..and beleive me..i had to scrounge for that color of pp..don't have much of it! the blueish background was purple pp, spritzed with turquoise glimmer mist and then stamped ~ with added pearlx. the image is stamped on purple pp then touched with blue and purple watercolors. the layout is of our precious granddaughter ~ the bird (at the top of the lo), centre strip and chipboard are stamped with ~ Layers of Color ~ stamps. the flowers and bird are handcut with added stickles.

well..that's it for the scrappy goodies ~ tired this evening ~ yep, gonna veg tonight ~ blog it ~ and catch up on everyone and see whatcha been creating. hugz

~ how old are you? ~

whoa..lots going on today! first off i wanna wish my dh a very happy 57th B-day today! (you can see a pic of him in my last post) we had a get together celebration for him last night at out dd's. had a great time ~ and today ~ dh and i are gonna have our own lil celebration at home ~ not venturing too far ~ it's snowing like crazy out there. yep..lots of white stuff! i did up that tag for TYI challenge this week ~ the challenge is to make a tag with numbers. mine is titled *love 4U* ~ check it out chickies ~ some yummy goodies over at ~ Tag You're It ~ (fri) the wings are stamped using a layers of color wing stamp...so delicious! the layout is called *how old are you?* ~ the pic was taken at beacon hill park, victoria bc. all stamps are from~ Layers of Color ~ . the lil circles around the edge are stamped, hancut with added stickles for placement ~ as is the flower and leaves. the birds were stamped, spritzed with glimmer mist and handcut.

well ~ that's my scrappy goodies for today ~ we just got home last night from our 6 day trip to the mainland ~ and i need to get unpacked and get caught up on laundry ~ hope you chickies have a rawkin scrappy happy tues.

yep ~ got out today to take some pics with my new camera ~ wow..what a difference from my last camera. glad it's retired! dh and i went to english bay today and drove around stanley park X2! it was an absolutely gorgeous day out ~ and yes ~ a great day to snap those pics. i played around with the settings a got some good ones today. my fave though is the pic of the inukshuk ~ it was taken at english bay ~ while the sun was setting. i stood back just far enough to catch the sun between the rocks. love how it turned out. and the 2nd pic ~ is my dh ~ poor guy ~ i had the camera is his face all day! i promise tomorrow ~ i'll face it elsewhere. anyhoo ~ i'm definitely heading out tomorrow ~ checking out a few more sites and gettin snappy happy! hope all you chickies had a scrappy happy day ~ hugs.

yep ~ a brand spankin new nikon D60 ~ just like the one in the pic. went shopping today with dh and got me the camera, the bag, extra battery, a 16 gb memory card and that yummy 18-55mm vr lens. so yep ~ guess what i'll be doing the next lil while ~ that's right ~ gettin snappy happy! might take me a bit to figure out all the gidgets and gadgets ~ i'm gonna be doing a lot of reading online here the next few days and try and sort it all out. i'm just stoked right now ~ yahoo!

~ Tag You're It ~ (fri) challenge this week. it's all about sugar, candy kisses ~ interpret as you please. i used the lil cupcake and tunes stamps from layers of color..just so yummy! sorry for the bad pic..i dropped my camera this morning ~ yep it's broke! so, that was the last pic taken today..ACKI! gonna head out this week and get me a nikon D60 ~ whohoo!the lo is also used with ~ Layers of Color ~ stamps. (stamped and handcut ~ with some added stickles.) gotta love all that glitter. those are our gks soakin their toes in the pacific ~ nothing like a day at the ocean..playing in the sand ~ and veggin it. lots of 3D goodies in this one. and thankx to sophia ~ carla ~ yvonne and dawn for the awards ~ you're so so sweet! sorry i haven't had to chance to pass them on ~ i sure do appreciate your kind words. hugz to you all!

wow ~ woke up this mornin ~ the sun is shining! it's absolutely gorgeous outside and yep..i'll be venturing out in that sunshine today. here's a couple of scrappy goodies i've done: i created the ATC *paris 89* for a challenge over at a new blog ~ 2cre8art ~ they'll be posting a new technique once a month. this month the tech. is using torn pp for a background ~ love how it turned out. yep..i'll be checking back there often and learning some new stuff! so looking forward to it. the lo is of our precious gd. i handcut the pp for placement, stamped and hancut the flowers, leaves and bird as shown in the 2nd pic using ~ Layers of Color ~ stamps. laura has a new line of stamps posted on her site ~ gotta check it out chickies ~ yummy stuff! i'm so in love with all the new images ~ and so honored i get to use them..whohoo! well ~ that's it for my goodies today ~ hope all you chickies are gettin scrappy happy ~ sending a big huge friday hug your way!

~ scrappy tues ~

whohoo ~ did up a couple cards for some challenges. the first one is for a challenge over at lil scrappers ~ it's based on a sketch that carla posted ~ thankx chickie for the inspiration. the 2nd card is for a challenge i did at scrap addicts ~ and yep..it's based on a sketch, too. the sketch was for a lo ~ and the challenge was to create a card using the sketch..yummy stuff! and the last card ~ is also for a challenge at lil scrappers ~ it had to have *i (heart) you* for the title somewhere on the card ~ thankx to michy for the inspiration.

well ~ it's a gorgeous day out ~ and almost noon here ~ whoa..i got some scrappy stuff to clean up ~ then i'm going to put some swiss steak in the crock pot ~ do a lil cleaning ~ head outside for a bit ~ then i'm back and gonna do some bloggin today to catch up on what all you chickies have been creating...hope you all have a beautiful scrappy happy tues.

whohoo ~ got a lil scrappin done last ~ my silly mojo up and left the building a few days ago..couldn't create for the life of me. sometimes it just doesn't want to cooperate. anyhoo ~ i did up the challenge for ~ Tag You're It ~ this week. the challenge was to create a tag using stripes. oh man...you have no idea how hard of a time i have using stripes..they just never seem to work for me..but ~ i did this tag ~ and heh ~ not bad ~ i'm pretty happy with it. i also did up that card ~ yep..i'm in a card tag challenge..ssshhh..hope no one peeks here and sees it..lol ~ anyhoo ~ i'm gonna pull out some scrappy pp today and get scrappy again. hope you all have a rawkin scrappy happy saturday. hugz chickies

heh chickies! whoa..it's been a few day since i posted. dh and i had to take off to the mainland for a day or so ~ we're back..whohoo! sure is nice to be home.

well ~ my mojo has up and left the building, as far a pplo is concerned ~ can't seem to create ~ so i decided to play with some digi elements ~ and created this lo of my crazy scrappy aussie friend marina! yep..that's her there. isn't she a riot! the elements are from *mm* ~ yummy stuff.

hope everyone's been scrappy happy ~ and since my mojo is gone ~ i'll be checkin ya'll out and bloggin it. hugz

whohoo ~ got the 1st 2009 challenge done for
~ Tag You're It ~ the challenge this week is create a tag using new stash ~ i dug into my new glimmer mist. i sprayed each of the two layers on the background with some cranberry zing and olive vine. then stamped the 2nd layer and hole punched around the border. for the chipboard heart i 1st sprayed it with some cranberry zing ~ then tore of some of the chipboard ~ and sprayed with olive vine ~ it's got a real shimmery glow to it..yummy! thankx for the challenge chickies.
