~ SCD butterflies and christmas ~

hiya chickies! hope the holiday season is bringing you lots of love, laughter and sunshine so far! 3 more sleeps til the big day! wow, this year has gone by fast! i wish you all a very merry christmas and am looking forward to getting scrappy happy in the new year. i've gotten my goodies out and did the challenge for this week over at Something Completely Different. this week is butterflies and a tag! i wuv butterflies! dh had gotten me a beautiful butterfly stamp set from layers of color for christmas..and when i told him this weeks challenge...well...he let open my pressie and get playin (ssshhh..don't tell santa)! love em! thankx monte! oh..and so, i finished up the tag and decided to put it onto a card.........so here they are! i don't think i'm gonna be havin much of a chance to get creative in the next week or so ~ we've got christmas dinner dates for the next week with family and friends ~ but, come the new year ~ i'll be back at it and playin again! i also want to thankx everyone for posting comments on my blog this year ~ all your lovin has been so appreciated! i look forward to bloggin it with ya in 2010 and seeing lots of new creations! hugz

hiya chickies! hope you're all doing great and gettin scrappy happy ~ amongst all the shoppers and weather we've been havin. our snow is gone again ~ and it's rain rain rain! the shoppers are busy out there in the malls and downtown ~ doing their last minute shoppin...ACK! too crazy for me. i'm home ~ keepin my sanity and stayin away from all that hussle' and bussle'. ah..gotta love the peace and quiet! i got scrappin happy last night and did up the challenge for this week's over at Something Completely Different . there's awesome inspiration there by the dt. the challenge this week is *party girl* ~ creating a tag! ah........another challenge done! and i loved that new pp i got in the mail the other day......so i did up a card, too....juz cuz! both peices have LOTS of stickles on them...whoa ~ i kinda got carried away...lol! anyhoo ~ i'm off ~ i'm hoping to do a lil blog hoppin today and a lil christmas bakin. yummy! have a rawkin scrappy happy day chickies!

happy scrappin saturday chickies! well...no snow here yet ~ but, whoa..it's gettin cold out! can't complain though ~ i've been chattin it up some chickies ~ and whoa ~ talk about *COLD* in their neck of the woods ~ some at -39 ~ ACK! that's cold! sure am lucky to be here on the island ~ where it's a warmer than that! no complaining here. anyhoo ~ i was blog hoppin last night and came across another challenge blog *If The Shoe fits... Scrap It!*. kewl stuff! the theme is LET IT SNOW! yep...the challenge is to create something with snow on it. so, here's my card. i had just received a lil card kit from my scrappy friend carla with the snowman image in it ~ so, i got scrappin happy today...and did up the card for the challenge. i added some snow on the lantern ~ and at the bottom of the image. also, i created the other card for a challenge over at Lil' Scrappers', which required using *ol' goodies* ~ i used ol' pp, ol' bling, ol' stamps and some ol' ribbon. gotta love a challenge...it sure does get ya thinkin outside the box. well ~ that's it for my goodies today ~ i'm off to spend the evening doing some blog hoppin ~ and watch a movie or two.

mornin chickies! another crispy frosty mornin here! yepperz...i'm indoors, sitting by the fireplace all toasty warm and enjoying my cuppa timmy's. yummy! hope your all havin another rawkin scrappy happy day! here's my tag for this week's challenge over at Something Completely Different. that's right ~ the challenge is *marilyn monroe* in the form of a tag. ok...so, i was kinda freaking there for a bit ~ i've got no problem with the tag part ~ but, i don't have anything at all that even resembles good ol marilyn ~ so, i did a lil different take on it. mine's called *glamour girl no mor* (yes, i purposely spelled *more* that way) marilyn monroe 1926 - 1962. it was kinda interesting googling information about her ~ and learning a few things! whoa..interesting lady ~ that's for sure. well...that's it for my goodies today! over and out!

mornin chickies ~ hope you're all havin a rawkin scrappy happy day so far! here's my card for this weeks challenge over at Project Tuesday. for this week's challenge ~ it's to make an easel card. there's great inspiration from the dt and the participants. if ya get a chance ~ check it out chickies ~ we'd love to see ya join in the fun! this is my first time makin an easel card ~ and talk about easy peasy! i'll definitely be makin this again! the birds, flowers and leaves are all stamped ~ and handcut with my exacto knife. i added some bling and stickles for a final touch. well, i'm off ~ i've got some cleaning up to do ~ then i'm heading to town to do some errands! hugz to ya'all!
