hiya chickies! hope you're havin a sunny scrappy happy day...in your part of the world. it's another rainy day here in paradise! yep ~ i'm thinkin i had better find those rubber boots and umbrella ~ i'm beginning to feel like a duck! anyhoo ~ i found an awesome sketch challenge yesterday...'unscripted sketches'. thought i'd jump in and play. there's some scrumptious inspiration there by the dt and there's such a variety of takes on the sketch...i like that! so...here's my card for the challenge. notice...no mags...no sarah kay...whoa...that's different for me ~ but, you know how much i wuv my flowers and lacey ribbon!

whohoo ~ i actually got to play!

yep...that's right chickies ~ i actually have been doing a 'lil' bit of playing with my goodies. life has been getting in the way lately...so...i had to put a halt to everything...and take some 'me' time! for my card ~ i used this week's 
sketch #138 over at

i played with my new sarah kay stamp dh got me for christmas and those beautiful flowers.

i've been doing a lil bit of kniting...juz for fun ~ using up some scraps of wool. i made these lil 'comfort dolls'. they're so easy peasy to make and a good way to up cycle those left over balls of wool. so without further adu i'd like you to meet

well ~ that's all the scrappy creative goodies for now. i'm heading outside today for a campfire and some fresh air. we had a wicked storm last night...and we got some cleanup outside to do, too! yikes...there's a whole lotta branches and trees down ~ BUT , we're safe and that's what counts! have a great week everyone!

new year ~ new goodies ~ new creations!

hiya chickies! wow ~ i finally got everything settled from a busy holiday season ~ and i'm back to getting scrappy happy! it was a fabulous year of creating in 2011 ~ and being inspired by each and everyone one of you! i'm so looking forward to gettin back to doin some more challenges again this year and playing with my goodies and doin a whole lotta creatin ~ especially with all the new scrappy goodies  my dh got me for christmas!  with that said ~ here's my 1st creation of the year! i used a sketch created by arlana over at 
sweet sketch wednesday. thanks arlana for the inspiration.
